Redefine Success
Why I Don’t Start on Mondays (And Why You Shouldn't Either)
For years, I’ve resisted the tradition of New Year’s Resolutions. There is an unspoken rule that change has to happen on January 1st, or that a new habit has to start on a Monday morning.
But in my own life—and in my work with the Empowered M.I.N.D. Framework—I’ve learned a secret: External dates don't create internal change.
I have never started a diet or an exercise routine just because it was Monday. Instead, I wait. I listen. I pick a day when it actually feels right to start. When we force change because of a calendar date, we are leading from "shoulds." When we start because we are ready, we lead from Presence.
This year, instead of a resolution, I invite you to take a Clarity Pause. Don't worry about January 1st. Wait for your "right" day.
